The New England - Northeast Big Bass Challenge presented by New England Bassin is a CPR (catch photo release) tournament starting with a qualifying period beginning March 1, 2020 12:00 am and ending July 31, 2020 11:59 pm.
The top angler from each New England/Northeast state, MA, ME, CT, RI , NH, DE, MD, NY, NJ, PA, and VT with the largest cumulative length of his/her top 5 large or small mouth bass upon the conclusion of the qualifying period receive an invitation to participate in the New England-Northeast Big Bass Challenge Championship on September 19, 2020, at Woonasquatucket Reservoir, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, Smithfield, RI.
In addition, "Wild Card" qualifiers will consist of 9 anglers from the remainder of registered anglers, regardless of state representation, with the largest cumulative length of his/her top 5 large or small mouth bass upon the conclusion of the qualifying period. If a state has no registered anglers, the award will roll down to the wild card position.
NEW for 2020! The winner of the previous years Big Bass Challenge Championship recieves an automatic free invite to defend his/her title without having to pay an entry fee or rank during the qualifying period! We have also partnered with KBF-Kayak Bass Fishing, to offer KBF members participating in the BBC 11 2021 KBF National Championship qualifications .
The 2019 event paid out $2300.00 in cash to the top three finishers at the championship event with over $400.00 in lures and giveaways. We also provide pre launch coffee, donuts and breakfast sandwiches , as well as pizza, calzones and beverages at the conclusion of the event to all competitors. All total, we paid out $3000.00 in cash, prizes, and food for the 2019 event.

The Entry fee is 50.00. There is no registration fee for qualifiers to the championship event.
Membership in New England Bassin is not required to register for this event.
